Commissioning, Acceptance & Owner Turnover

The acceptance test

• 20-grid signal survey per IFC §510.5.3 (or AHJ-amended grid count)
• DAQ ≥ 3.0 general / 3.4 critical per NFPA 1225 §18.5
• Donor antenna RSSI within ±2 dB of design prediction
• BDA gain, isolation, and intermodulation measured + documented
• Battery cutover test (12 / 24 hr per AHJ); voltage and current logged
• Fire alarm interface test — supervisory and trouble signals at FACP
• Walk-through with AHJ Fire Marshal (where required by jurisdiction)

Owner turnover package

We do not close a permit without delivering:

• As-built floor plans with antenna locations and cable runs
• iBwave model export (final, post-tuning)
• Equipment list with model numbers, serial numbers, MAC addresses, UL listing
• FCC GROL and NICET certifications of installing technicians
• AHJ frequency authorization letter (re-issued under owner record)
• Acceptance test report (PDF + raw PCTEL data)
• Annual test schedule with first-year date locked
• Inspection tag posted in the fire-control room
